Check out the following website. It has a Drake R8 (nice receiver) that can be controlled
over the Internet by you and has been around since 1995.

Hmm - controlling an R-390 would probably take a motor or two and maybe a gearbox. It
could get pretty complex mechanically. Kind of appropriate considering the mechanical
complexity of the R-390(A).
