GENE,
This is youe stuff to do as you please with, BUT I wonder if you realize that a bunch of us hams have searched for years for a certain part that you may already have sent to the landfill? To dump parts that someone may have been looking fo years into the garbage is a crying shame. If you do not care to take the time to make a list, offer the whole lot to sombody who has the time to haul it off, and catalogue it themselves! Don't throw it away - the very idea makes me squirm and shake. I don't know what you have, and its obvious that you do not either. Give the radio restorers and repairers amognst us a chance at your treasure trove. I imagine lots of us that live close to you would love to rent a U-haul, and take the stuff off your hands so you won't ever have to worry about it ever again. I've gained a lot of parts and tubes from older hams for a nominal price, or just for free, so they can empty their basements or garages. These parts I never charge money for, I give them away to a fellow ham who really needs it. I'm restoring the different models of Hallicrafters S-38's, and some of these parts that were castoffs from other hams are very useful in resoring these little radios, especially the boxful of isolation transformers that was left at the Montgomery Hamfest last year, abandoned and destined for the dumpster by the cleanup crew of the Garrett Coliseum. Don't throw your radio trash away, give it to us so that we can keep our old stuff going! Please?
