Having used these tubes (years ago), I should caution that they (unlike the
4CX250) were designed with linear-service in mind (eg. no grid current).
If I remember correctly (and I may not), the control-grid has a close to
zero-watt dissapation rating.
Not suitable for grounded grid, of course.
In grid-driven, class AB1 service a pair will deliver over 600 watts of
relatively clean signal with very little drive power (perhaps under 5
watts).
