If your state is on Daylight Savings Time, then remember to set your clocks back
one hour at 2:00 AM Sunday morning October 30th. There will be a penalty for
failing to do so at precisely 2:00 AM of $.75 per minute and the total fine not
to be greater than $1080. For those of you always a day late and a dollar short,
that is the amount for being one full day late! It is being collected by somebody
named Red The Skeleton? Sounds like a Halloween 'trick' to me, but why take
foolish chances, just set the darn clock and be safe. Remember this is the
digital age, and Uncle Sam knows when you set your clocks, do not be a gourd head
and try to sneak and set that tickless digital clock ahead of time, lest you be
busted like a pumpkin that got drop kicked by one of those refrigerator's with
legs that punt for a pro football team. So while it is ok to be grateful for your
forty+ household remotes that do everything from change the TV satellite channel
to start the car - unlock the doors - adjust the power drivers seat to your butt
comfort setting - tune in your favorite radio station - and toot its horn when
it is ready to roll, or flush the toilet for you in case you forget! However as
you wrap your home in aluminum foil to keep those probing eyes from space out of
your private life, remember that not even the Bubonic Plague was all bad. it did
eliminate the tax collector!
Yes, the HCI Sunday 20 meter Net will be the same time on you clock, 1:15 PM EST,
12:15 PM CST, 11:15 AM MST and 10:15 PST.
