Oh boy, don't get me started! I have a customer in Perth (I'm in the
software business) who asked me a technical question about our product.
Unfortunately, my answer kept getting black-holed by one of these
bloody spam blockers. The guy is getting frustrated, I know how to fix
his problem, and I can't talk to him!

Instead, I get to read a bunch of half intelligible techno-snob bulls--t
about how this is all MY fault for "not securing my servers", etc. At
that time my ISP was Earthlink which was the third largest in the US,
and these space cadets have decided that it is a spam source and should
not be allowed to send email to Australia...

Ultimately I got through to someone at my customer's ISP and explained
to him that his user was paying him to provide communication and this
particular spam-blocking service wasn't helping his customer relations.
They removed the particular server from the blacklist, and I was able
to talk to my guy again.
