[Boatanchors] Swan 600T value/price?

I'm a bit outside my element here, so I need to ask. An OT friend of
mine, KC1BT, has a 600T transmitter to sell and isn't sure of what to
ask. Neither am I, having little experience with the gear. I know from
the manual that it has 600 watt SSB input, which should provide a
fairly stout signal. Beyond that, I am of no help. Ray prefers to sell
this unit at the upcoming Hosstraders hamfest in NH instead of via
ebay, so I'm trying my best to encourage and help him with it. Not
that I don't like ebay, it's just nice to see stuff at hamfests and
not have to deal with shipping and all that.

It also has some kind of 'channelizer' unit with it, which appears to
have a crystal bvank inside for controlling the unit instead of the
VFO. Also made by Swan.

Anyone care to take a stab at this? I told him $300 off the top of my
head, mainly because I've never seen one before and it seems to be in
pretty nice shape. Hasn't been used for a while but has clean paint,
front panel, knobs, and so on.

BTW, for anyone attending the 'fest, Ray will be set up right inside
the main gate to the right, tables beside a motorhome. He also has a
Siltronix 1011C rig w/frequency display unit and external VFO,
National NC-173 and NC-125, Heathkit Apache and SSB converter, S-40B,
several heavy duty RF Communications 2 meter rigs as well as many,
many other goodies.

Thanks -
