[Boatanchors] Overhaul of a BC-224C ?

Hello All,

There is a BC-224C sitting here, waiting for a recap and general 
service.  This one has a 120VAC power supply built in and it appears 
that whoever did it, did a nice job.  The set also has a number of other 
(undocumented) modifications. 

After studying this critter for awhile, I'm beginning to think that I 
may have bitten off more than I can chew 8^(   All those "Micamold"  
capacitors , which I'm sure are oil/paper caps in disguise appear to be 
a royal pain in the neck to replace, NOT to mention those oil filled cans. 

Thoughts, Suggestions?
