Thanks for the catalogs.  I was presently surprised to see the =
promotional
business stamp on the back page of the 1939 Stancor catalog.  Freck =
Radio
Supplies was my source of parts and tools when I was a kid in Asheville,
N.C. in the early 50's.  I would ride my bike downtown to Biltmore Ave.
where Freck's was located.  Mr. Freck was a ham and, if you happened to
catch him working the counter, was very friendly and helpful to young
electronics enthusiasts.  Thanks also for the memories.  I still have my
Xcelite spin-tite set from there.  (Most of it, anyway.)
