Steve,

I do not know the answer to the question.
I do not know what twin lead you are hanging onto.

Old stories from my past was you could run a 100 watts
of RF.

Three limits. Volts, RF heating and Amps.

At some voltage it will ark through the insulation.
At some current it will heat the insulation and melt pure resistance and wire
heat.
At some RF level it will heat the insulation and melt.

Run it for a short test. Shut it down, ground it out and inspect.
Up the power level and test again.

Under a 100 watts and with final voltage under 700 volts you should be OK.
If you expect some SWR that could push the standing voltages then think about
it.
If you are working over those limits, Either test carefully, or order some
better
line from a supplier that has no relation to the other thread now going.

The QRP world likes the stuff as folded dipoles.
Easy to work with and get on the air.
If you are running a transceiver under 100 watts you will be OK.

If you are pushing more than that, you will want some better wire, just to
avoid the line losses. Larger diameter wire than the 22 or 20 you will find
in the twin lead.
