[Boatanchors] Radio Shack and more

This Radio Shack thing is starting to smell a little. What is its expiration
date?

That said, however, I had a different observation on change. The more
things change, the more they stay the same.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s I could peruse the Allied Radio catalog
and dream of things I couldn't possibly get. Now I can do the same with my
old Allied catalogs and I still can't get most of the stuff, although I have
an old radio collection that numbers around 280.

BTW: I do like the history about companies that finds its way on the
reflector, but does everyone need to gripe about everything? Remember, its
bad for your heart to have a negative outlook. At least that's what the
$%@@#% tell me. 8^)

Cheers,

Gerry
