I have already posted this to the Harris list but didn't have any luck with my search so I am posting here for those that are not on the Harris list. I am trying to locate a service manual for a RF Communications (Harris) RF-150B transceiver. It is a VHF high band transceiver that was used on the RCC/IMTS mobiletelephone systems. It even has a built in duplexer for full duplex operation. From looking at the RF finals, it should probably put out about 60 watts - there are two transistors in parallel that are rated at about 40 watts. I want to retune it to 2 meters and use as a low power repeater - ideal for point to point communications during ARES operations. A service manual would be nice (which is what I am trying to locate) but I have reverse engineered transceivers in the past to get them where I want them. I have already contacted Harris and all they had was a manual on how to connect a 'scrambler' to the unit. Any help is appreciated.
