[Boatanchors] 2 x 1 = 1?

Hi All:

My RF deck has 2 x 1625's.
My output, per my RF ammeter is the SAME for one 1625 as when I have two in 
the sockets.
Each 1625 has the same output..even when I switch sockets.

The 1625's are in parallel.

Sooo..why are 2 x 1625's = 1 x 1625?
