[Boatanchors] Tank circuits.

Hello Fellows,

With a lot of discussion concerning certain coil sets, I want to ask 
if anyone is familiar with a kind of tank circuit that was available
many years back. This tank circuit maintained a "constant 
optimum L/C ratio throughout its tuning range".
I ran across the name of one many, many years ago but have not
been able to track down any in existance.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
