[Boatanchors] Where are all the Dayton Flea Market reports?

First trip to Dayton for me, Scott. What's all this talk about rain? :>)))
WX was fine, although a bit chilly for a desert rat.

Highlights of my BA search besides what Larry mentioned were the excellently
restored 100V and 600L by Bob, W0YVA, and his Ranger I, which shone like a
new penny (wasn't selling that, just for show). Beautiful work, and a great
guy to talk to, too. The real things look even better than the pix on his
website.

Also saw a couple of TMC GPR-90's (one VG, one so-so), several R-390A's, an
RME-6900, a Globe King (asking $1200), a few decent S-Line components and
more not-so-decent, much nice Drake stuff, and an inordinate number of VG
Kenwood '830's, it seemed to me.

As to non-BA gear, the new stuff was sure impressive, and the MonstIR
SteppIR/US Tower/Icom co-op was awesome. One highlight of the great exhibits
inside was a legal limit solid state linear that ran key down at full input
all day, every day. Barely ran warm. Amazin'.

I'm really surprised that there haven't been any Dayton Flea market reports
like in years past. Did alot of people stay home this year? I always look
forward to hearing about what you saw at the flea market, prices, cool
stuff. Just curious.
