Worthwhile project?  I guess that depends on the
purchase price, condition, and how useful you find
a three band, 120watt pep transceiver.

It is a good looking rig but you might regret
owning a radio that only covers 80, 40, and 20
meters.

If the price is right and the condition is good,
it would make a nice rig for someone who does not
have any other equipment.  However, if you already
have a rig that works, covers more bands, and has
comperable performance, the NCX-3 may end up just
taking up space.\
