Folks,
Of course you can cook on anchors.
I wintered over on the DMZ in Korea in 70-71.
We would go up the hill at sun down with the swing and mid trick.
You sleep half the night (HI HI) and worked half the night.
You come off the hill at sun rise and the day shift held the hill.
C rations were the standard fair for the over night mid meal.
As soon as you hit the site for the night the cans when on the radios.
The heaters were just to much and baked your can.
In warm weather the radios were the only heaters.
So much easier than cooking over bug juice and peanut butter.
