Hi Guys,
Well, Kees came close to my situation.

I retired (early) 7 yrs ago, we moved then to a new house with a small
garage. I wanted a shop (attached), which my great wife agreed to. Not
long afterwards, probably when I came home from Shelby with more stuff,
she said, "I'm glad you've got that shop and all that stuff. If you
didn't spend time with that I'd either have to go to work or kill you, and
you know I don't want to go to work!"
Shortly before that, just before we left CA to come back to NC, at the
Livermore Swap she hauled a large Hickok tubetester back to the van for
me. She has no interest in radio, but nicely cohabitates with me & my
stuff.
When we got married, 1963, our vows included the words, "I plight thee
my troth," whatever that means. My brother, best man, burst out
laughing, and said, (later) "she doesn't know how much troth Al has." She
had spent 2+ summers riding around in my cobbled up car with HB body.
