[Boatanchors] Radio Shack Crystal Mic elements

Hello to the list...........
 
Last week I opened a "gift box" of goodies and there were three sealed  
packages of Crystal Mic elements made by Radio Shack at least 20 years  back.  Part 
number is 270-088 if that's important.
 
Anyway, I thought I'd "ping" this list to see if anyone remembers them or  
better still used them, say, in a D-104 or similar mic.
 
Not much in the way of specs on the container except that they have a  
frequency response between 100 and 5kc.........  And, that the sensitivity  is 
-56db, +/- 3db.
 
Well, I've not opened them and tried one just yet but will probably do so  in 
the near term.  
 
Does anyone on the list have experiences, good or bad, with them?  Any  
comments appreciated, but preferably from those who have working knowledge of  
their performance.
