Well, Bob I am 6'2" and 278 with 56" chest and unfortunately a 52" waist.
I also LOVE to yank chains and for sure on the El Cheapos that want a
75A4 or R-390 for a couple hundred bux.
Not talking about the beginners or the people on a tight budget trying
to enjoy the hobby.
One thing that burns me is the guy that gets a freebie and then turns
around trying retire off of it or puts it up on *E*ay.

I feel if you are going to indulge in this HOBBY then you should be
willing to pay up as required and I do not mean getting ripped off.
If you have been around for awhile and are familiar with the equipment
and its worth as per condition and price, then you don't go trying get
it for free or cheap, step up and make a fair offer.
By all means dealing with people just be honest and up front with them.
The returns to you in the long run pay off not in dollars but credibility.

I have had excellent dealings with close to 2000 hams world wide, lot of
personal checks with no problems. For high dollar tickets I like
certified funds or wire transfers. When they start bitching about the
price or whatever we go to USPS MO's.

I have phone service where I can call worldwide for a max. of 11 or 13
cents per minute. So I love to talk to a lot of the guys in real time.

When you shave in the morning, who do you see??

Gotta go mix another Scotch and water and listen to the screwed up WORLD
news.
As I go sliding off of my slippery mailbox
