HI, an ohmmeter may help, with the power off and unplugged check the
resistance of the tx secondary winding, each hv to ceter tap. You may
have an intermittent open on the "funny side".
Of course the resistances will not be equal as the wire length is
different unless the hv side is wound on two adjacent sections
( "pie wound")
