[Boatanchors] Unstick those trimmers

 G;day all...  The  twin  ceramic trimmers in BC-348 Q coil boxes
sometimes stick -- the next effect is to crack them if a bit of
pressure in twisting takes over. Having broken a  couple  in the past
on these radios that have sat  around for years,  my lurk is to heat
them up with the  hot air gun-- gentle heat, gentle twist and
invariably they come free. They seem to stay that way even when cold.
Do any alinement and you shouldn't have to worry about it for another
63 years!.... fixing the old one.... haven't a solution on that one.
Fortunately Igot a supply of coil boxes from  a  metal scrap dealer-
new-  never asked how come but they are my source of replacement.
Maybe other ideas about .. any going ?
