[Boatanchors] Re Is It Safe To Use?

Hi All, 	
	
I was given a Coleman 12 vdc 5.25 amp power supply that went to a Coleman
portable refrigerator. Is it safe to use this on a solid state transceiver, such
as the Heathkit HW-202? I doubt this PS is regulated. I was warned that if it
was not regulated it was apt to deliver up to 15 vdc and damage the HW-202.
