[Boatanchors] Vertical Antennas

My 35- year old Hustler 5-BTV antenna has finally become a maintenance headache - I have
replaced the traps, trap boots (several times) and the aluminum is getting too corroded to
continue - So, I want to replace it. I am considering a new 9-BTV, a Butternut or a GAP
or one of the creative-looking MFJ verticals - others? I have heard that the Butternut
capacitors change value on AM duty cycle due to heating and they have a tendency to fill
with water during rain, and just wondered is someone out there can suggest the best
multi-band vertical - I know there are some new technologies including top feed etc. I
intend to mount the base at about 15 feet high and the resonant radials are already there
(from the old 5-BTV installation). Not off topic (really) will use FT-101 and Elmac AF-67
(with amp) to drive antenna - on AM ! Thanks for any suggestions.
