I never had nor used a drifty SP-600. Back in the early 60's I used
SP-600's (and other receivers as well) for a living - I won't supply
details... I still own one, and at one time I had 6 in a rack at home!
If the SP-600 is still drifty after at least a 30 minute warmup in a
constant-temperature environment, something is wrong with it.
