[Boatanchors] For sale RCA AR-88D

Due to financial problems I am selling off most of my boatanchor 
collection.  The first item is my AR-88-D.  This is a WWII era receiver 
that is fairly rare in this country as most of them were sent to England 
and Russia during the war.  It was the replacement for the AR-77 and is a 
very high quality receiver with excellent audio.  It is a large, very 
heavy, and well built radio.  It is in very nice shape for a 60 plus year 
old radio and it does work.  It is the third and best example that I have 
owned.  I have not had time to go through and re-cap it and that should be 
done on any radio of this age.  It has a manual copy and some more articles 
on fixes and modifications that could be done.  It has the S meter which 
was often left off due to shortages during the war.  As far as I can tell 
there are no modifications of any kind.  I have what I believe is the 
proper speaker for it.  Due to it's fine condition I am asking $450.00 for 
it and $150.00 more for the extremely rare speaker.  I will send pictures 
on request.  Set your e-mail program to accept some large attachments.  All 
of my mail is virus checked and the virus program is updated daily.  I am 
located in Booneville, Arkansas and can deliver a reasonable distance for 
cost.
