Hello Doug,

You may be overlooking a terrific resource that is right under your beak, the
college library! If no success there Doug, then try the main library for your
county, or region, depending on how things operate in your state and county.

Most large libraries now have the older magazines stored on microfilm. Locate
somebody who appears to have worked there for a number of years and knows the
library storage procedures and how to search for a particular article. If they
do have the magazine on microfilm, search for the article by name. Try various
combinations Doug, as sometimes whomever filed it away had a spurt of creativity
and spiced up the original article name.

If you do locate the article, most libraries will allow you to print a copy of
it for a small fee.

Because all of the libraries in the county are all linked together through a
special network, and this network is generally in each county of the state, you
can check all the libraries, or at least the main branch for each county in your
state, from your local library. Hence, you might find what you desire in a
library somewhere else in your state. If so, ask the Librarian to assist you in
checking the archives of that library, and if what you need is found, having a
fax sent to you at the library while you wait. There is a small fee for this
service, several dollars. Nothing major!

Happy hunting -

Hello,

I am in the process of restoring an All Star All Wave Receiver that was
built from plans published in the following articles. I would like to know
if anyone has access to scans or copies of these articles or any other
information on this radio. I am aware of Thomas Boyd's article for ARC. I
really appreciate any help you can give me.
