Hi,
NOT exactly a BA, this was posted on the Homebrew reflector, but didn't
receive any replies.
A friend who is going to check for crystals to use in the little QRP TOOB rig
(the "Rockin' '50s MOPA") that I'm building. It uses a 6C4 oscillator, 6AQ5
final and 6X4 rectifier. I've adapted it from a single tube circuit in the '73
handbook that uses a 6T8 triode/pentode tube. In addition, bells and whistles
like antenna changeover relay etc have been added.
I realize that 7040 and vicinity is the 40 meter "QRP calling frequency".
What are other good frequencies for him to look for in the 80, 40, 30 and 20M
bands (multiplied up for 20M)?
