[Boatanchors] R-388?

Hi,

There is a Collins R-388 sitting in the floor awaiting service. A quick check
of it (after forming the capacitors) disclosed the following, no real
surprises here.

1. Sensitivity seems quite low. (I tested the tubes, all tested good).
2. PTO end points/linearity are out quite a bit, apparently "normal" for this
set.
3. The Xtal filter doesn't seem to work. Changing the position of the Xtal
filter selectivity switch has no real effect.

It doesn't have any BBODs (black or brown), but seems to have a lot of long
skinny brown capacitors that appear to be some sort of ceramic. I haven't
really seen this style much before, they don't look like the typical "white"
dog-bones that I've seen elsewhere.

Ideas, hints?
