Bill -
Have you turned the Bird around? IOW, turn the slug for "reflected"
power and then "turn the whole meter around", Input to Output / Output
to Input. You should then read full forward power with the slug rotated
to the "reflected" position.
Harder to describe than to do!
If NO reading in this mode, you probably have a bent contact in the slug
or slug socket of the 43.
