I disagree.  I don't believe, in the current climate, that the FCC is at all
interested in the use of the spectrum.  There are two forces at play:
 
1) can they sell the spectrum?
2) can they keep their jobs?
 
If both can be accomplished it's a winner.
 
As requirements to qualify for this priviledge called the Amateur Radio
Service diminish, so will the spectrum.
