[Boatanchors] BUD Tunable Lowpass Filter - Looking for info

Found something interesting in one of my flea market boxes.
It's a BUD Low Pass Fliter model LF 601A
About a foot long, it's unusual in that it seems to be a tunable LPF, not fixed. 5 stages and 5 variable capacitors for screwdriver adjustment from the outside. Havn't seen this one before.
Does anyone have spec's on it? WWW search only indicated 50 - 70 ohm adjustability and I'm looking for a bit more info.
