[Boatanchors] VFO operation of BC-610

You are correct that a transmitter can be used as a driver for the 
BC-610.  The last time I did it was to  use a Collins 32V2 aboard a USAF 
arctic survey ship (VQCB "M/V Arctic Sealer").  This was back in 1957
and all that I did was go into the 807 plate circuit and used a cap to 
couple the output of the 32V2
directly to the 304TH in place of the 807 driver.  Should be possible to 
use any VFO transmitter as
a driver.
