[Boatanchors] BA's and 3-wire cords

Many people think that. The truth is that they look for an imbalance of 
current between the hot and neutral wires. No ground wire needed for 
proper operation.

If there is leakage to earth there would be more current on the hot lead 
that on the neutral lead and it would trip.

Tossing the ba in the tube would definitely trip a gfi. Even if no 
ground wire attached.
