[Boatanchors] TEMCO transmitters: Not Forgotten here

Hi Phil:

I wouldn't have known what a Temco was if I didn't buy all of 1947's CQ
magazine issues at a ham fest. The Temco rigs ads are all over them. Full
page ads too. They even offered custom TX's by switching decks. I think
what you and your friend have are very rare indeed.
You are in perfect position to photo and publish to the web, something that
is nearly forgotten by our community and I hope you do. I wish I could help
you but my introduction to the series via CQ mag is all the contact I have
had. I'm working on a similar project, I'm collecting manuals and the
electronics for the Jones line of VSWR wattmeters. So far I have three
different VSWR models and maybe four manuals. Two match up and the others
are missing either the manual or the probe/indicators. I've been searching
hard for the balanced line VSWR Jones box too. MC Jones info published to
the web is very sketchy. Temco doesn't seem to exist on the WWW.
Looking forward to seeing the big gal!
