[Boatanchors] Fed-X

That is EXACTLY why I dont ship Fed X or UPS when I send equipment or
have equipment
shipped to me.
In all the times I have shipped by postal service, I have had only
ONCE that something
arrived broke... and it was a tube that fell out of its socket inside
the rig because I didnt
put enough packing material inside. My fault, not the PO... And I have
NEVER received something sent postal that didnt arrive in the same shape
it was sent....
On top of that ... the cost of postal is about the same... a
little more sometimes at the most,
but well worth the extra little cost.
At the post office, the workers gently pick up the box (whatever
the weight) and put it in the
bin... unlike at UPS or Fed Ex where they either try to make a three
point basketball shot...
or they toss it onto the conveyor belt like a sack of garbage... I
used to wince when I saw that
before going to postal shipping...
