The Motorola model is B93AKB (not 893AKB).  Also, it
is rated at 250 watts output NOT 2 KW!  The 6155 is
nothing more than a 4-125 without the metal "skirt" on
the tube.  The 4-125 is interchangeable with the 6155.
 The final amplifier runs about 500 watts input (which
is the maximum that a pair of 4-125 series tubes can
handle with a 250 watt output - 250 watts of power
being dissipated by the plates plus 250 watts output
equals 500 watts input power).

The receiver can be of two different types:  Both are
"A" models.  The first is version that has the "coil /
capacitor" tuning.  The second is the "Sensicon A"
which has either 5 or 6 "loaded" cavities in the
"fronte end".  The "Sensicon A" is an excellent
receiver for repeater use.

The "K" transmitter (which is used as the exciter in
the B93AKB) utilizes a number of "loctal" tubes plus
the final amplifier tube is a 5894.  It is rated at 60
watts output.  The earlier versions used the 60 watt
"A" transmitter which was similar but used an 829B in
the final.

Again, the B93AKB is NOT a 2 KW FM transmitter.  It IS
a 250 watt output unit.  Normally, the B93AKB will not
do much more output than 250 watts, at least not for
any extended time.

When I owned the Motorola Reconditioned Equipment
Center for the south-central United States we did
recondition a very few of this model the first couple
of months in operation (1970).  However, those were
done on "special order" and we did not ever
recondition any again.

Again, the B93AKB is NOT a 2 KW transmitter!  It only
puts out 250 watts.

The only parts that can be used for the HF bands from
the amplifier would be the tubes, tube sockets, and
the power supplies.  The exciter/ receiver power
supply can be either a P8434 or P8464.  The P8434 has
reduced voltages and is normally used with 30 watt
output base stations.  However, Motorola did install
these quite often in the "quarter kilowatt" stations. 
The P8464 is used with the 60 watt output stations. 
Both the P8434 and the P8464 are excellent power
supplies for "boat anchor" equipment.

The rest of the equipment (receiver and exciter) are
only good for the 150.8 MHz to 174 MHz band although
they will normally tune down to the 144 MHz to 148 MHz
amateur 2 meter band.

I would definitely suggest rewriting the item
description if you have already put it on eBay.  Your
description here is definitely not correct.

893AKB-11003 Amp Type CC3013 rack-mount cabinet
amplifier for VHF. The cabinet is a great art-deco
1950's style cabinet. The amp sports a massive heavy
duty power supply and two 4021 / 6155 final tubes.
This rig could be modified for the HF band.
