Good evening Gentlemen,
I appear to have caused some extensive distress by my thoughtless publication of my text to you all this AM with regard to alerting you as to what is happening in the United Kingdom as far as the erosion of our freedom to use radio is concerned.

I offer my unreserved apologies for so causing upset to certain unidentified members in the sincere hope that they will understand the reason why I so chose to publish the details.

Should those who wish to discuss the matter with me further care to communicate with me directly and not through this reflector, I will assuredly attempt to ameliorate the situation on a personal basis.

I had no intention of causing any upset to anyone and I merely tried to alert those who might be concerned to a situation that could potentially expand its horizons to the West side of the Atlantic. Already there is a possibility of this expanding further in this country with a "Big Brother" operation being mounted to establish constant surveillance over us all but that is not part of, or the subject of this apology.

I have also offered my apologies directly to the network moderator for my intrusive text with an assurance that it will not occur again.

Thank you for your time in this matter it is valued and appreciated.

All good wishes,

Clive GW3WEQ
