[Boatanchors] Wierd Line Noise Observation on 40 Last Night

Are you using the same antenna and feedline for transmit and receive? If
so, possibly your transmitter power is re-forming (for lack of a better
word) a poor cable or connection. It could be burning through dirt or
corrosion in the tuner, T/R relay, etc. I have seen this kind of thing
happen many times in antenna systems, so it is worth thinking about.
The bad news would be, of course, that the noise was there all along and
you were not hearing it because of the poor connection.
