[Boatanchors] Valiant on 160, Antenna Opinion

I have a suggestion that may help.  Replace the 135ft of wire with 450 Ohm 
ladder line.  Short each end and open the center on one side and feed with 
450 Ohm ladder line and cut the other side in the center and leave the 
other side open.  Feed the ladder line feed to a 4:1 balun to your 
tuner.  What you will end up with will be  linear loaded double extended 
Zepp for 160-10 meters that will show gain.  I have used them for years and 
they work better that a dipole.
