I was given one as a novelty in December 2003, Christmas yes, Santa NO! It came
from RS.	
	
If the room is semi-dark John, it is cute. At least it gives youngsters today a
hint that once upon a time radios were different.

I was at Walgreens yesterday and saw a 3 tube radio for $10. Each 'tube' was a
plastic vial with a little mesh grid in it and an LED inside that. Well... it
did glow!!
