I used that model for years when working for MCI, almost 15 years while we
hand analogue radio systems.

Excellent radio, just need an outboard attenuator.

I listened to local radio and SW on it while at work during the slow times.

You hook a 10 MHz external freq ref to that from a Loran or GPS and you have
the ultimate freq counter too.

Only problem is if it goes tits up, you are out of luck!

Most people could not fix nor afford to fix them.
