[Boatanchors] What VLF/LF Boatanchors are "affordable"

Hi Phil,
You might consider a military RBL receiver which covers 15 to 500 kHz.
I picked one up a few years back for practically nothing at a fest.
This particular one is a RBL-3. I could not spot any difference between a
RBL-3 or 4 schematic.
It just made it to the workbench - all 80 lbs of it. What I have found, is 
an
unusually large percentage of leaky mica capacitors that needed replacement.
I rarely find mica caps that go bad.
Hope to have it on-line for the next test of the Swedish SAQ station on 17.2 
kHz.
