Hi:

I found something that may be of value for anyone interested in using a spectrum analyzer in their radio/electronic work.
There is a company in southern China currently manufacturing and marketing rf spectrum analyzers. I found at least three different models. The least expensive is a 500 mhz model for $500, the most expensive a 1 ghz model with tracking generator for around $1,200.  Add $85 for shipping to the USA. Have a look at www. atten.com.cn for additional information. This company is also selling on Ebay at the spectrum analyzer catagory.  I know of one gentleman here in town that uses one and told me he was satisfied with the machine. 
Anyone have more input or comments concerning this line of test equipment?
