I checked on my alcohol bottle mentioned in the earlier post.  It is
isopropyl 91%.  In the case of both the 70% and the 91% the bottle and my
local pharmacist claim the only other ingredient of this product is good old
water.  There is also another 99% pure isopropyl available, but it is
extremely volatile and hard to keep from vaporizing once opened and of
course more expensive. 

One must exercise care to not get rubbing alcohol which usually contains
fragrance or other impurities.
