I am in process of "reducing" some non-functioning old scopes. At the
moment I have a nice bright 5 inch Philips DG13-32 CRT from a 1950s Hickok
665. Anybody have a use, it is free for the shipping. I hate to destroy
good stuff, but

Hi Duane,

In my past life I worked on old Seeburg jike boxes - at that time the amps
had a pair of 6L6 tubes - they would put out about 30 watts - I think some
amps had 4 6l6 in them and were rated at about 50 watts rms.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Re Jukebox Audio Amp Output

Hello All,

I have heard discussions about the old jukeboxes we all used to invest
heavily
in as teenagers and the power of the audio amplifier seems to be always in a
state of flux. Some of them used a twelve inch and others an eighteen inch,
but
what else for speakers?

What was the typical power in continuous RMS the mono amplifier exercised
these
hefty speakers with?

Thank you.
