[Boatanchors] TO-6A meter internal resistance

Hello, list.
The saga of my Sprague Tel-Ohmike TO-6A rebuild continues. Recall that
the meter in mine is fried. Today I found a used Triplett 50 uA meter
with the same size case and a taut band movement to boot (it must have
been a hundred dollar meter when it was new) and a 100 degree scale arc,
which is the same as that used on the "stock" meter so no re-scaling
will be necessary. $5, and it's mine. Woot!
Only remaining question is: does the new meter's internal resistance
match that of the "stock" meter? Since mine is open, I can't determine
this. So, is there another Good Samaritan out there willing to open up
his TO-6A and take an ohmmeter to its meter? Please?
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: Please measure your meter's internal resistance
through a 5K resistor; that way you won't peg the needle (or worse). Be
nice to your meter!
regards (and thanks in advance),
Mahlon - K4OQ
