i would like to thank the three stations who assisted me with relay work for the
HCI Special Event that concluded this afternoon at 1900 UTC. Had it not been for
their assistance, many stations would not have been heard.
The band was long again today, but quiet. The east coast can thank KG4KZG, Dale
in Margate, FL for his relay work. None of the other relay stations could hear
the stations that Dale worked and relayed in.
K0EJF, Jerry in Denver, Colorado helped in all directions from his ideal QTH
location. The event was barely over with and Jerry had the report in the mail!
Great work Jerry, as usual. A pleasure to work with you.
Then Casey, K7JX, in Tacoma, Washington was picking up the stations to the
southeast/southwest and relaying them in. His all Hallicrafters station did an
outstanding job and I am not sure if his smile or the skip points were more
broad! Great job Casey!
A special thanks to everyone who in any way contributed to making this HCI
Special Event the success that it was. What a terrific team! Thanks for
participating and keep those things that still go glow in the dark glowing!
Remember, if you want the special one time only commemorative certificate, send

Do 'NOT' send a SASE!
You may send a QSL card, one is always appreciated, but is not mandatory!
Thanks to everyone for making me work the HCI Nets for 1000 consecutive times
without a day off, no pay raise, no COLI, no paid vacation days to the Caribbean
islands and no thank you cards stuffed with those things with Benjamin Franklin
printed on them! The fellowship is priceless and your friendship is more
appreciated than most of you will ever truly know. Thanks for being there and
thanks for letting me be the HCI NCS.
