When substituting electrolytics you have to remember
that most of the originals had a tolerance of -50% /
+80% while the newer ones are +/- 20% in most cases.
Therefore, you have a MUCH larger "leeway" on choosing
the newer values. So long as the new value falls
within the -50% / +80% range you will not have any
problems!
For example, the original 125 mfd capacitors could be
as low as 62.5 mfd and as high as 225 mfd and still be
within tolerance. Therefore, you could easily use 100
mfd, 150 mfd, or even 180 mfd and still be well within
the original parameters of the circuit.
Your choice of 150 mfd will work fine.

I guess I have my answer now. I will use 150 uf for
the 125's. Using the lower voltage/lower capacitance
in parallel is not how I want to do it since it takes
up too much room.
