[Boatanchors] Join Sunday HCI 20 Meter Net

As always, all flavors of vintage gear are welcome - if it's not vacuum, fake a
hum! 	
	
Please join us on Sunday September 12th for the HCI 20 meter Net. We will be
remembering the tragedy of September 11, 2001 and thinking of our family
members, friends and radio brothers/sisters in the path of Ivan. 	
	
The pre-Net portion will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). Those wishing to
fire some electrons off earlier can join me as I do some target practice off
slow moving sleepy eyed cumulous clouds using my modified vertical with a
slightly different takeoff angle at 12:25 PM EDT, (1625 UTC). 	
	
The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be
14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the stealthy stalking of
the hood by the dreaded Mole Patrol armed with pitch forks, sawed off shotguns
and a CO2 powered harpoon gun. One pokes a hole in a Mole subway tunnel, drops a
ball composed of Roquefort cheese, powdered clove of garlic, rotten tuna fish
and ground up moth balls down and plugs up the opening with a biodegradable
cork. The other spread out and wait for one of the Moles to come up for fresh
air and then impale it with the pitch fork or the harpoon. I think they grill
them and sell them at some ethnic picnic where they are considered as a
delicacy. Hey, better in someone's stomach than making my backyard look like the
New York subway tunnel system!
