Hi, Gene.

I have an S-1 and the service manual.

The wall-wart charger is marked 12 VDC, 50 mA output.  The tip is + and the
sleeve is -.  There is a diode in series with the charger jack also.

The old battery was only, IIRC, 225 mAhr and didn't last long.  Newer ones,
available from various places like batteries America are more like 600 mAhr.

If you want a copy of the user or service manual, I'll see what it would
cost to get a duplicate made.

Does anyone on the list have info for the Henry Radio Tempo S1?
(I have tried BAMA and a search of the web with no luck).
I especially need info for the battery charger: the radio has a 1/8" phone
jax for the charger - which (tip or sleeve) is the + and - connections?
